The biggest misconception about me

is that I am a dumb blonde with big tits.

I'm naturally brunette.

Hey, I'm Sydney Sweeney,

and this is my Glamour Unfiltered.

I feel most empowered as a woman

when I get to embrace my femininity.

Just being fully and freely myself in any aspect,

whether I'm on set and I'm playing a character

or I'm home and I'm with my family.

Yeah, truly, whenever I'm happy, I feel empowered.

It's whenever I go home,

Hollywood is so far removed from where I grew up.

So it's always just a humbling experience when I go home,

where none of this really matters to any of them.

They just want Syd.

That's always a very just humbling experience for me.

I'm really hard on myself.

I give a lot of myself to everything that I do.

Like, I'm always wanting to give 100% to every job,

and I'm really hard on myself about that,

but I feel like I'm being underestimated.

It makes me want to work even harder

and show whoever is underestimating me

that I can absolutely do anything I set my mind to.

It's like it drives me to do more.

The biggest misconception about me

is that I am a dumb blonde with big tits.

I'm naturally brunette.

[Sydney laughs] [crew laughs]

I'm very different than a lot of the characters that I play

or the versions that you've seen me on carpets

or in interviews 'cause I'm still made up.

Like, this is still like the work version of me.

I'm always so appreciative to both Miu Miu and Armani

because they will remake dresses for my boobs.

And a lot of times when I see trolls online slamming me

or whoever is styling me for things that don't fit my boobs,

it's because it's sampled.

It's not made to fit my boobs.

And a lot of times we're not allowed to, like, cut

or alter stuff.

So I'm, like, forced to fit in something

that doesn't fit me,

and it won't look right.

So whenever I get to wear Miu Miu, Armani,

or when a brand is letting me, like, reconstruct the top,

or rebuild it, or alter something,

that's when it looks better.

That's when you see that I look more confident

and happy on the carpet as well.

I definitely dealt with worrying that showing off my assets

were going to make people see me a certain way all the time.

But I dealt with that a lot in school,

like in middle school was honestly the worst.

And I think that I went through that process

of always wearing sweatshirts and covering my body up

at, like, such a young age

that once I became more confident with myself,

and I became more confident with myself

through my characters that I've played.

I wanna show girls that it's amazing, and beautiful,

and empowering to have the bodies that we have.

I have been finding a lot of different ways

to stay calm during all the craziness

and the franticness of this business by my dog, Tank.

Like, if I cuddle her

and we're just sitting and watching TV.

I love watching HGTV, I talk about it all the time.

Or reading a book.

Like, that'll always shut off the rest of the world,

and I just live in that or go home and go ski.

That's definitely the time

that I find myself unplugging from the rest of the world,

and it makes me really happy.

I can watch myself on TV. This is the crazy part.

I can watch myself as a character

because I'm being somebody else.

And to me, those choices are made by that character,

and the decisions, and the things that they said.

I don't feel like people are judging me as a person

where when I do these type of interviews, or red carpets,

or when I'm more Sydney Sweeney, I get so nervous.

Like, right now, I'm so nervous because it's hard.

Like, I wanna have an actual conversation with everybody

because there's so much to say,

but I never know what people are gonna think,

and this is me being me,

and that's the most terrifying thing.

Something I feel older than my age about has to be,

I have a lot of responsibilities.

I take care of a lot of people.

I just turned 26.

It's a lot of responsibilities,

and it's a lot of pressure that most of my friends

and peers my own age don't have.

Something I feel younger about.

I have a lot of energy.

I love eating candy.

I eat candy every day.

It's really bad.

But I've never had a cavity.

My beauty routine empowers me

because I have learned so much from,

like, my makeup artist Melissa Hernandez

or working with Laneige in my skincare.

Like, I've just become more confident

the more I try different looks.

Like today, we have freckles on,

and, like, it's so cool to play dress up,

but then I also get to learn so many tricks of the trade

that I would never actually know in, like, my real life.

I never thought that I would like low-rise jeans like ever.

I was so mad when they were coming back.

Low-rise skirts, any of that.

I was like, No.

But I'm kind of into it now,

and I'm mad at myself saying that,

but I'm kind of into it.

You know, it can be easier or it can be hard

in different situations to be unfiltered.

I talk a lot,

and I am very unfiltered, and that can get me in trouble.

I don't know. Am I being unfiltered now?

I'm not quite sure.
