Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2 is taking us back into the midst of Middle-earth this week as the second season of Amazon Prime's fantasy series returns. It's been two years since the first season was released, so to say we're buzzing for the latest instalment is an understatement.
Following on from last season's cliffhanger ending, The Rings of Power season 2 picks up from the finale in which Sauron was revealed to be Halbrand. As the Dark Lord seeks to rebuild his empire, will he be able to deceive the people of Middle-earth into enacting his bidding with his new elven disguise?
The second season follows a slightly different release pattern to the first, so if you're wondering when the next Rings of Power episodes are released on Prime, here's The Rings of Power season 2 release schedule in full.
