I wear UGG boots a lot.

When the Queen is sitting down on a chair,

she's got UGG boots on.

[all laughing] I have...

Hello, I'm Golda Rosheuvel.

Hello, I'm Ruth Gemmell.

And hello, I'm Adjoa Andoh.

[All] And we're doing GLAMOUR's Bestie Test.

Love.

The very first day that I had anything to do

with Bridgerton, we had this meeting

where we as a whole group were doing dancing together

and I was quite nervous and Golda came up to me

and said, You're one of us.

And she gave me a big hug and I felt completely safe.

And that dance thing

was actually a really good icebreaker, I think.

Yes it was because it said to all of us,

here's this thing you may not have any clue how to do,

we'll all learn it together.

Yeah.

What would be my favorite song?

Oh, something may be Motowny or Roberta Flack.

Oh yes, good.

Roberta Flack and Donnie Hathaway,

Be Real Black For Me.

There you go. Oh, there we go.

Who would make the best queen and why?

Well, I don't think we can fix what we've got, baby.

No, I don't think we can fix what we've got.

We're gonna stay with Auntie G.

Oh God, thank you very much.

[Ruth laughing]

[Interviewer] Why are you Auntie G?

Oh, she's Golda. Golda.

And people I love, I call Auntie.

It's nothing to do with me.

She's not my aunt.

No. Are you?

No. No.

What would be my ideal meet cute?

I don't understand what that is.

So a meet cute, quite often in a film,

suddenly you bump into each other and that's the meet cute.

I think you'd bump into somebody

while carrying something and drop it.

I met my wife on the dance floor.

Did you? Did you?

Yeah.

And what, did you just dance into each other?

Well, we were kind of like, All right?

[Ruth laughing]

Yeah, I'm all right.

And we were kind of like, Yeah, you're all right?

Yeah, you've got good moves.

11 years later we are now...

In it for the long ride.

In it For the long haul.

Yes you are.

But Ruth, meet cute.

Oh, yes.

All right, so I'm saying she's bumping into somebody

and dropping something.

A hand over secateurs.

[Ruth laughing]

Yeah, that will do.

This says, To Adjoa.

Oh, okay.

What is the biggest takeaway

or lesson you've learned from portraying Queen Charlotte

and Lady Danbury's friendship?

When women watch those two together,

they are hugely encouraged and empowered

by seeing a strong female friendship valued.

Yes.

Here, here.

Who would make the best matchmaker and why?

I'm going to say Ruth Gemmell.

Oh, would you? Would you really?

Yes, you know everything about everybody

and you take care of everybody and you check on us all.

So you would know where we were.

I think she'd be the secret.

She'd be like the spy, kind of,

she wouldn't be like upfront about it,

it'd be very sneaky and kind of like-

[Ruth laughing] It would be discreet.

Like, it would be really discreet.

You'd be like,

just sitting in the corner- Have you thought about?

Going clock, clock. It'd be like that.

Yeah, yeah.

Am I peddling it? Rather than [vocalizes],

it'd be sort of a gentle nudge.

It'll be a gentle nudge, yeah.

Oh dear God.

Yeah. Yeah.

What's the best motherly life advice

that I've ever given one of you?

Conversations with you always have a big, strong nugget

of reassurance and love in them.

So there's something about, It will be okay.

I agree with that.

I always feel so much better about myself

when I've had a good old chat with Ruth.

The doctor will see you now.

[Ruth laughing]

Doctor Ruth.

Doctor Ruth.

[Adjoa laughing]

Would you call me a romantic or a cynic?

Romantic.

I think you can sometimes put across being cynical,

I actually think you're romantic.

I think she's romantic.

I'm utterly romantic, everything makes me cry.

[Ruth giggling]

What's my favorite Queen Charlotte look?

There are so many of them.

So many to choose from that.

I'm gonna go with the mechanical swans

just because it's so out there.

I'm going to go with one of the presentation balls.

[Golda] Oh yes.

Golda, what is it?

My one is our tea party in season one.

[Ruth] Ooh!

The beautiful pink look,

I like that one. Yes.

That's a good color on you as well.

Golda, what was your biggest moment of sisterhood

on the Bridgerton set?

[Golda] I think it'll have to be the balls

when we're all together and there's like,

a kind of little look.

Do you know what I mean?

Yeah. Like we all go,

All right, Hello, you know?

And there's that connection there, I love that

because sometimes you can feel very distant-

Yeah. In those things

'cause they're very huge, very big-

Or isolated in your little bit.

Isolated. Isolated in your little bit.

Yes. And you know,

I can look over to Ruth and she'll be like...

[Ruth and Adjoa laughing]

You know?

And we'll go...

[Ruth chuckling]

What was my most embarrassing moment on set?

You swear a lot.

I do.

She's a potty mouth.

[Interviewer] Lady Bridgerton?

Yeah, well, it's when I mess up or-

Gets things wrong.

It's lovely, I like it.

I like that too.

I love sweary women.

What are my best and worst habits, girls?

For me, the habits that I love about you on set

is the way that you take everybody in.

You never walk onto a set without greeting the crew-

Yeah. Yeah.

And without noticing everybody in the space

and acknowledging everybody's work.

Yeah, that's a must for me.

You are very polite.

You are very excellent at that.

Worst?

You are very good at taking care of yourself,

it's not worst habit, it's the opposite,

very good at taking care of yourself physically.

You have incredibly demanding costumes and wigs

and you're very good at going, And okay,

I just have to have a little break now.

I'd say that if it was a worst habit,

I wear UGG boots a lot.

But you see, that to me is taking care of yourself really?

When you're lonely.

Yeah, so I can go, I wear UGG boots.

When the queen is sitting down on a chair,

she's got UGG boots on.

Yes. [Ruth laughing]

What would be my craftiest matchmaking trick?

You know that thing where you just pop an idea

into somebody's head or that you'd kind of walk past

and you whisper sweet nothings into somebody

and they're like, Oh gosh, yes, I do love that person.

[Ruth laughing]

I think I would say my craftiest thing

would be going, Oh, I don't need think you'd get on.

Yeah. Ooh.

Yeah.

Yes, I see. [laughs]

Yeah.

[Ruth laughing]

What is my biggest pet peeve?

I think your biggest pet peeve is time-wasting.

There are moments where you are like, What's going on,

are we filming?

And I've gone, Yes, I agree.

[Ruth giggling]

What's my funniest moment on set?

Oh, I have one.

It was one of the balls

and she had a huge, it was season two,

and she had a huge wig on that sort of bent forward,

taking time because she was exhausted

and lots of costume and things like that,

she took herself into a little tent

because a lot of mayhem going on,

and it was lit inside the tent

[Adjoa laughing]

and inside the tent you just looked like Marge.

[Golda] Marge Simpson.

[all laughing]

I have this photograph,

taking a picture of you inside this tent

and you look like Marge Simpson.
