Each of these outfits not only confirmed the actress, director and activist's taste for sober and elegant pieces, but also paid homage to her role as opera singer Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín's new film, Maria. But there is one look that hasn't been talked about enough: the olive green boho dress that she wore with matching heeled pumps on arrival at the festival. It deserves its own moment.
ICYMI: this summer has been all about method dressing on the red carpet. But Angelina has said this wasn't her aim during the film festival. Instead, she wanted to pay homage to Maria ‘The Divine’. Jolie arrived in the Italian city wearing an olive green boho gauze dress by Saint Laurent, which she paired with matching pumps.
